While you hold tight to the Rock of your Redemption, Be glad for the waves of adversity, for they are why you cling tight.

Waves of Adversity
We all get smashed, battered, and bruised by these waves. They come in many forms like stress, misfortunes, sin, arguments, and problems of all sorts, financial trouble, trauma, injury, and relationship and family difficulties. These waves can be brutal at times and even too much to bare, causing serious emotional duress. We look at these waves and they can be frightening, they can cause fear, worry, and pain. We know that these waves of adversity come crashing on us and over us. They can seriously beat us down at times and that is what Satan wants for us to get knocked down, beaten, and bruised. He wants the waves to dismantle us and throw us off balance for that is his plan to keep us separated from our Saving Grace, but what i would like for you to do is change your perspective. I want you to be glad that those waves are there, be very happy for them and I’ll tell you why because those waves of adversity are what keep you clinging onto our Rock of Redemption, our Hope, and our Future. If those waves subside and the battering slows down to nothing, than what is it that is holding us to our rock? Think about it, while we are crashed on by the waves of adversity we find it easier to cling and hold tight, but when the waves take ease we find it time to let go like there is no longer a need to cling. So today be thankful for the waves of adversity because they are the cause for our strong hold to our Rock of redemption and that is Jesus. And know this, that when you are focused on His will and living in the gospel, when you have dedicated your life to spread that Gospel message, then those waves will be persistent that’s when you rejoice. It’s when you have no waves of adversity that I would be concerned. It’s at this point you ask yourself, why is Satan not concerned about me? So rejoice I say, rejoice when the waves of adversity come your way!!
