“Fear, he is a Liar”

Learn How to Defeat it and its Copart Anxiety

Fear sets in; it waits and watches.  Fear has all the time in the world.  For it is a spawn of Satan himself.  Fear was hand-nurtured by the mother of all lies and was groomed by the family of legion to do its worst.  Fear is like the black mold that is down deep in the darkest places just growing and consuming within, it see its opportunity and it finally surfaces.

The Bible mentions for us not to worry, not to be anxious and not to fear more than 365 times.  You see the Lord is telling us that if we would just trust in Him with all our hearts, all our minds, and with our whole soul I believe this could be accomplished.

You see the Bible tell sis in Exodus 14:14 that “The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”  It also tells us in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.  Well, if fear is the weapon we are fighting then the battle we have to fight is the anxiety and worry.  So, fear, anxiety, and worry are all in the same family and stem from the same enemy.  So how then can we fight to prevent it?  Well, my friend let’s go back to the scriptures, it all starts with trust!

The Bible says for us to trust in the Lord.  Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

We first must trust Him; we have to stop trying to fight this battle on our own for we are in a spiritual battle.

In Ephesians 6:12 we read “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Would you like to know how the Lord tells us to prepare for this battle?  Then let’s continue reading Ephesians 6:13-18

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle, you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.   For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.  Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”

So, just from reading that alone, we see we need to prepare ourselves by one, reading God’s word, two, being filled with the spirit, and three, praying on all occasions.  We basically have to be a sponge, saturated with the living word with a shield in one hand and the sword in the other and it’s that image that scares Satan back to hell where he belongs.

God has given us all the weapons and armor we could ever need to defeat our adversary we just need to be informed and aware.  Did you know that the Lord says that He will brood over us just as an eagle broods over its young in Deuteronomy 32:11?

Instead of listening to the liar, we need to let these verses resonate within, all the time, like in Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”

You see, the Lord has a plan for us all.  He has a will for our lives and Satan is hell-bent on preventing that, so Satan sits, watches, waits, listens, and like a lion who is hiding in the brush, he attacks when he sees the opening.  Satan is subtle and starts off with a little poke, like how are you going to ______, or what about _______, or you can’t do it.  Satan actually has a mountain of fearful thoughts, that’s why fear nots and other related scriptures like don’t worry or cast your fears on him or don’t be anxious scriptures are so abundant in the Bible, that is so that we have a different one for every day. Here a just a few to get started with.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”  ~ Psalm 56:3

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ~ 2 Timothy 1:7

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” ~ 1 John 4:18

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.” ~ Psalm 94:19

“But now, this is what the Lord says…Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” ~ Isaiah 43:1

“An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up.” ~ Proverbs 12:25

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” ~ Psalm 23:4

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ~ Matthew 6:34

“Humble yourselves, then, under God’s mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time.  Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.” ~ 1 Peter 5:6-7

“Tell everyone who is discouraged, Be strong, and don’t be afraid! God is coming to your rescue…” ~ Isaiah 35:4

“Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.  Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?” ~ Luke 12:22-26

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” ~ Psalm 27:1

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” ~ Psalm 55:22

“Immediately he spoke to them and said, ‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’” ~ Mark 6:50

“Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” ~ Deuteronomy 31:6

“’For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.  Do not be afraid, for I myself will help you,’ declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.” ~ Isaiah 41:13-14

After reading these verses, we really come to understand that the Lord loves us and wants to protect us from Satan and his lies.

If we put all this in a nutshell, all we have learned and read up to here, we can conclude this:

First, we must trust in the Lord.

Second, we must put on the full armor of God and stay in prayer.

Third, we have to be filled even saturated with His word.

So, to accomplish all this, first above all we have to be in a, and have an intimate love relationship with Christ.  We have to be saved, born again, and should be baptized to demonstrate our devotion and commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ.

When we have such an intimate relationship with Jesus, we are putting all our trust and faith in all He is as our Savior.  We are trusting in His infallible Word, which is sharper than any double-edged sword, because in Genesis it says that the Word was with God and the Word is God.  So, by consuming and digesting the living Word of God, we, in fact, are taking in the Spirit of the living God to dwell in us as the Holy Spirit, to lead and guide us.

Stay in your Word, by doing so will open up the trust door and start to close that open window where Satan is whispering to us.  We need to close it and lock it once and for all.

The Bible tells us that if we have faith, just the tiniest amount, that of a mustard seed, we can tell the mountain to move from here to there and it shall be.  It also tells us the only way to have this kind of faith is by fasting and praying.

So, on this day I challenge you to this spiritual battle training class.  It will entail one to trust, fast, pray, read, worship, and fight so if you’re up to it:

First, establish your relationship with the Lord by asking Him to be your Savior.

Second, put on your armor of God, read Ephesians 6:13 in detail, and put it in on daily.

Third, fast from anything that brings sin into your life like movies with curse words, non-Christian music, social media, etc.  You pick what you’re going to fast from, even food.  Just fast and pray.

Fourth, watch some Christian movies and listen to Christian music.

Fifth, start serving God either at your local church or any ministry.  Start being a doer, not just a hearer.

Sixth, pray in the morning, and seek the Kingdom of God first in your life.  Read and study your Bible, take notes, research what you read, and go deep.

Seventh, Get the book Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby.  It’s a 13-week study and will grow your relationship with the Lord exponentially.

If you vow to this challenge for at least 13 weeks of Experiencing God, you will overcome as your relationship with Christ grows, and your fear, anxiety, stress, and worry will start to be blotted away.

Remember, this is our goal, to die to self, if our flesh is stronger than our spirit then Satan and sin will rule over us, but if we build our spiritual person to be stronger than our flesh, it’s then we see the change we all so want and that’s not to say we won’t stumble sometimes, but that is why we only see one set of footprints in the sand at some times in our life and that is because Christ is carrying us.  We might think we are alone, but it’s the opposite that rings true.

Let the Lord rule in your life, love Him, worship Him, and you too can walk with your head raised high, singing “Fear, he is a liar”!!
