Are We All About Kingdom Business?

You may be saying what is kingdom business? Well to that, let me explain. Business as defined by the world is “a person’s regular occupation, profession, or trade.” The kingdom we are speaking about pertains to the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is a major theme in the Word of God, being mentioned hundreds of times. The Lord has created and established His throne in heaven to rule and govern His kingdom, in other words, all things. God’s purpose for the world is to save people, save their souls so they can spend eternity with Him in the heavenly realm.
We are called and few will be chosen, few will be chosen because the many that are called will find it hard to be all about Kingdom business. They will find the world’s business will look more appeasing to them.
Kingdom business is everything that has to do with Jesus Christ and His mission.
It all started out in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve fell in the devil’s snare and sinned against God causing everything to change. That sin caused the call of blood sacrifice for future sin, future disobedience against God. As the world got populated, the sins of Adam and Eve blossomed into a world-wide epidemic causing God to be so disappointed. He had to flood the entire world leaving only Noah and his family to repopulate. Sin was, and is still, the foundation of our flesh and dying to it daily is our goal. God sent His only begotten Son to be our ultimate sacrifice and by confessing with our mouths that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we could be reborn, baptized, and filled with the Holy Spirit and be prepared to live an eternal life with God in Heaven. Along with the believing that Jesus is who He says He is. We have to obey Him. “Well,” you say, “how do I know what He has said to do, so I can obey Him?”
“Well,” I say, “That’s easy, all His instruction for how we are to live is in the scriptures located in the one and only Bible, which we are to read and study daily” The Bible is where we find out what Kingdom business is. Doing as Jesus did is Kingdom business. Following after Paul’s example is Kingdom business. Serving the Lord, prayer, and worship, these are all attributes of the Kingdom. The Bible says throughout scripture to love your neighbor as yourself, love people, be helpful, lead people to Christ, plant seeds. This life is not to be for our benefit, but to spread the gospel, to be fisher’s of people.
The world is filled with self consuming people that disregard God and His purpose. They walk this planet and see God’s creation every day, but dismiss it as He doesn’t even exist. This world is under the control of Satan and his demons and we, the true believers of Christ, the children of God are called to be all about Kingdom business in all we do. God would love to see His people making a renewed commitment to do this. If you already are all about Kingdom business, great! Keep at it, but if you’re not, then start small, make a change one step at a time, get involved with your local church, start serving, get to know people that are all about Kingdom business, start to put God first in all things and get yourself ready because one day all will stand before God and a relationship with our Lord and Savior is going to determine if you are staying or going. Being all about Kingdom business is a way to not get conformed to this world, to not get distracted by the devil, and will solve all your problems. Because it’s all God’s plan and His plan is perfect. So now let me encourage you, press on and move forward into your calling of Kingdom business and see how it changes your life.
