The Time Is Now!

As we press forward with our lives, the times seemingly are getting tougher, more expensive, more secular, and we see a rise in demonic activity.  The end times are upon us and the more the secular world creeps in, the more regressed you see the Christian become.  In these times we face now, we have to contend with the new era of the church, where now we see the false teachers pulling in the majority of the crowds.  Let me explain, our world is consumed by lusts just read this scripture:

1 John 2:16  “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”  Its true love is money as we read in 1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”  When you couple these two sinful ways of life: the lusts of the world and the love of money, this is the recipe for this next scripture and is what we see in the world today 2 Timothy 3:1-5:

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”

These are the times we are in, there are forces, invisible forces working against us.  The devil is crafty and cunning and he knows just how to entrap us.  He knows what works and what doesn’t work.  If we are not aware of his presence and have the necessary weapons to battle him, he will seep his way in, into our home, our family, and into our children.  This is no matter to take lightly and my greatest fear is too many people are so passive and dismiss the severity of the situation, that it will be too late for them when their time comes.

We have to be diligent in this race and start diving into our Word and get to know God, understand what it means to be in a relationship with Jesus.  Learn why we need a Savior and do as the Word of God instructs, this is no joke people.  God is real, as is His wrath.  There will be grave consequences if we don’t repent and become reborn doing the will of our Father.  You can’t just call yourself a Christian, you can’t just follow some televangelist; don’t be fooled by the trickery of the devil.  The Devil will have countless false teachers leading people astray.  When you see thousands of people flocking to a certain preacher do your homework, check out their ministry, and see what they are preaching.  Does it line up with the word of God?

Jesus was a King, God in the flesh ask yourself how did He come to this earth?  Did he seek wealth?  Did He struggle with the world’s lusts?  No, He did not, He was humble, had no place to lay His head, in fact, He told His disciples that He has no place to lay his head and they followed Him anyway.  The followers of Jesus gave up everything.  They left it all behind.  They weren’t concerned with status, wealth, riches, and establishment but what they were concerned with was doing the will of God and spreading the gospel. 

If you are a Chosen one called for a purpose, then I suggest you get busy doing that.  Make that your top priority and I am not suggesting that you neglect your family in the least bit, but have balance.  You can’t claim to be a Christian and be standing on the sidelines.  It’s time to pick up your cross and go make a difference because one thing’s for sure, our enemy never sleeps.  What that equates to, is while we are doing nothing to lead people to Christ the devil is on overtime leading people to Hell.  So go out and make a difference, be a life changer and let the world see Christ that is in you.
